Wilson Auto Electric
Mikkelsen Coward and its sister electrical services company, Nor-tec Electric, beat out the competition on the Wilson Auto Electric plant relocation when the distributor was acquired in 2008. This is a perfect example of when a client has benefited from the synergies that come with having one contractor for both mechanical and electrical service requirements. The project started in October 2008, and the Mikkelsen Coward and Nor-tec Electric team made it happen in 60 days. Mikkelsen Coward installed the HVAC systems and aided with the plant relocation. Nor-tec Electric handled the main distribution, lighting and electrical equipment hookups. The 20-man crew succeeded in making the new plant operational for December 2008.
